How does it work?

 

We measure heart rate, breathing rate, sweat, and body temperature through sensors woven into the product. Temperature and sweat indicate one's level of nervousness, anxiety, and excitement. Breathing rate indicates one's level of emotional and physical stability and directly correlates with one's heart rate. Bradycardia is when the heart rate typically stays slow and steady, and tachycardia is the heart rate's acceleration. Emotions that cause bradycardia are depression, love, compassion, and happiness. On the other hand, tachycardia is caused by emotional stressors such as anger, fear, and anxiety. 

 

Those sensors take in the four external factors which are converted into data. Not only are the sensors programmed to save your data, the sensors sends the information up to two devices: the plastic logic and the VIBES phone app. The plastic logic is a new piece of technology that is flexible and displays electronic visuals. The data of all four factors is calculated, and external factors that do not correlate with emotions (exercise, breathing exercises, etc) are eliminated. Activities that alter those factors such as exercise, or any physical activity is identified by the sensors and equalized accordingly. Lastly, the final selection is transferred to the plastic logic, displaying your emotion according to the color legend.

Will our product accurately track mood?

 

Our products will track mood with the greatest precision thanks to new technological innovation. Science has already determined the specifics of the correlation between external factors and your mood. Errors will rarely occur.

Are our clothes machine washable?

What does the VIBES phone app do?

 

The phone app tracks your mood throughout the day by syncing with the plastic logo through Bluetooth. The app will suggest songs, movies, places to eat, games, etc., depending on your current mood. For those who do not want others to view their emotions for the sake of privacy, we have implemented a "Ghost Mode" feature which will prevent others from seeing your emotions.

Can you use our app if you don't own a shirt?

​

Yes, but only if you had previously owned the shirt. You will receive a VIBES app login code during your first purchase. However, if the shirt is returned, lost, or damaged, you are able to continue using the app. Unfortunately, the purpose of the app will greatly diminish because its chief intention is to record your moods and offer recommendations. Without the shirt, you can use the app to track the moods of your friends, access your mood history, and visit informative pages or links.

Will other people be allowed to see my moods on the app?

Yes, but only if you manually change your settings in the app. At VIBES, we value privacy, and understand you may not want others to see your moods.

How is VIBES allowed access to my personal information?

All clients are required to sign a waiver form upon purchase of our products to establish confidentiality agreements.

Is my code different for each purchase?

​

No, you will receive your code with your first purchase and every purchase afterwards will use the same code.
